Clinique Fresh Bloom Allover Colour

I owe these Clinique Fresh Bloom Allover Colours an apology, or at least a super belated review :P I've had and been using them for years, since before I left to Japan! This was when Clinique tried to be little more interesting with their products which I thought was a great success. I own 4 different colors and 5 compacts after all: 01 Peony, 03 Almond Blossom, 05 Amaryllis, and 08 Bamboo Pink. Two of the compacts are mini freebies but the other 3 are full size purchased at full retail!

01 Peony, in mini GWP (top row) and full size compact (bottom row). All pictures are taken indoor with flash unless otherwise noted.

Clinique Shimmering Stripes Powder Blusher

So I owe a couple of super belated reviews to some Clinique blushes I've been using for years! Yes, years, because I'm that easily distracted. Anyway, of those blushes is this pretty Shimmering Stripes Powder Blusher in 01 Cabana Pink.

Mark Good Glowing Mosaic Blush Part II

Here are the rest of the Mark Good Glowing Mosaic Blush I have. There are 4 colors available, Hush Baby, Chica, Love Rush, and Sandy, and I have already written about Hush Baby and Chica. Love Rush and Sandy took me longer to get to because Love Rush has no shimmers at all and is way more pigmented than the rest, and Sandy is a bronzer, which I don't really use at all. And even then I haven't used them, so this is only a preview post.

Love Hush: the blush's matte-ness makes its color all the more opaque, as if it's not already pigmented. Just like the other Mosaic Blushes, here are 3 different colors in the pan, and they swirl together for a nice reddish coral flush with brown undertone.

Diamond Beauty Diamond Nose Makeup

I've never heard of Diamond Beauty, and only after some research did I learn it is a small brand that mainly features fake eye lashes. They do carry point makeup too, just not as many variety and color selection is quite limited.

That said, browsing through Don Quixote's drugstore floor I chanced upon the testers for this Diamond Nose Makeup (arhh?!?) and found these, yes, contouring and highlighting powders to be exquisitely fine and silky! So even though the small and totally generic and somewhat cheap-looking compact is actually pricier than similar items from other drugstore brands, 1,050yen versus 6-800yen from Canmake, Visee, Kate, etc., I picked one up!

Diamond Nose Makeup 01 Princess Nose and 02 Dolly Nose (...I didn't come up with these names...)

T'estimo Artist Shade

T'estimo Artist Shade in BE-04 is a contouring powder also released in the Spring 2006 Collection. Similar to the Color Lighting, it has 4 shades of earthy bronze and is a mix of warm and cool undertones. The left 3 columns have some shimmer, but only a minimal amount of them.

How to Use (according to T'estimo's video tutorial)
Use a flat and angled blush brush:
- Swirl over all 4 colors a couple of times
- Sweep lightly in the hollows of the cheeks a couple times (to bring out the apples of the cheeks)
- Sweep lightly in the temples (to bring out the cheekbones)
- Sweep lightly on the 2 sides of the nose (to bring out the nose)
- Blend to soften!
