Speick Men After Shave Balm Sensitive

Hubby is almost done with this 100mL/3.3fl. oz. tube of Speick Men After Shave Balm Sensitive so here's a quick post for it. Speick is a German (drugstore?) brand, I think, and hubby was happy to give it a try. He actually likes trying new stuff now and would get bored with a big jar or tube that lasts for longer than a year :)

Le Baigneur Shaving Soap No.2 + Porcelain Bowl

After two years of continuous use, I noticed that hubby was getting bored with his Proraso Shaving Soap in a Jar (he was switching between the white and the green jar) and got him something new to try over the holidays: this 150g bar of Le Baigneur Shaving Soap No.2 that came in a set with a lidded Porcelain Bowl.

Hubby was never an electric shaver guy, so up until we moved into our permanent home, he's been using a razor with disposable blades. Not great, and definitely not environmentally friendly, we know. So when we did settle down, he made an immediate switch to a straight razor, because he's old-fashioned like that ^.^

Proraso Shaving Creams

With the razor with disposable blades, he was using these Proraso Shaving Creams in 150mL/5.2oz. tubes, the White tube for Sensitive Skin and the original Green tube for Refreshing and Toning. There was also a Black Tube for Protective and Moisturizing, but it seems to have been discontinued and is no longer available.

Just one use left of this 30mL/1.06oz. tube of Clarins Men Shampoo & Shower so here's a quick post for it.

Martial Vivot Shampoo

Since Philip B Peppermint & Avocado Volumizing & Clarifying Shampoo is a clarifying shampoo that I can't really use everyday, I moved on to this 30mL/1fl. oz. bottle of Martial Vivot Shampoo instead, from the same Beauty Habit GWP.

After Frederic Fekkai Technician Color Care Shampoo, I fished out another 60mL/2fl. oz. travel sized bottle of Philip B Peppermint & Avocado Volumizing & Clarifying Shampoo without reading the label carefully (happens a lot, unfortunately...). It was from a Beauty Habit GWP some years back and I was antsy to use and be done with it while hubby's working on the remainder of the Bene Premium Crystal Rose Repair Shampoo bottle.

L'Occitane Verdon Spring Set

Bought this L'Occitane Verdon Spring Set for hubby to try and immediately regretted it the moment I opened the box. This Verdon line is strongly scented with woodsy manly cologne. Sounds nice, only it's way to overpowering, as if someone poured an entire bottle of cologne into these products. It makes me wonder if L'Occitane thinks men stinks in general and need this much help in escaping their evolutionary residual caveman aroma. Urgh. 

Verdon Spring Set, which includes a 100mL Invigorating Shave in an aerosol can, 50mL/1.7fl oz. Fresh Water Shower, 15mL/0.5fl oz. Energy Moisturizer in a squeeze tube, and 100g/3.5oz. bar of Verdon Soap. 

Jersey Cow Shave Gel and Daily Moisturizer

Super short post here since it's technically not a review - hubby uses these products and not me ^.^

Bought this pair of Jersey Cow Shave Gel and Daily Moisturizer for him during a 20% UK brands sale on Beauty Habit last year. He got bored of Jack Black, Anthony Logistics, Art of Shaving, Lab Series, Clinique, The Body Shop, etc., and was happy to get something new to try. Like his dad, he used to be totally indifferent to skincare, but I guess my obsession somewhat rubbed off on him LOL!
