Celvoke Voluntary Eye Palette Part II

Last fall, I stumbled upon this Celvoke Voluntary Eye Palette 06 Purple deeply discounted via Rakuten JP. It was neither used nor an auctioned item but was only 3,780yen after tax and shipping, and being a 2017 holiday release, it wasn't ancient, at least for me, so I snatched it up without a second thought ^.^

Celvoke Voluntary Basis Eye Palette

In the spring of this year, Celvoke released a new and permanent range of quads called the Voluntary Basis Eye Palette (hmm, voluntary basis as opposed to what, exactly?). Unlike the previous Voluntary Eye Palettes (which I don't see these online anymore--what happened?), the new palettes have all new and unique shades, as opposed only 1 palette-unique color and the other 3 picked from their singles lineup. From online photos, palette 03 Purple caught my eyes though and that was what I went with.

Celvoke Voluntary Eye Palette

Here's Celvoke Voluntary Eye Palette 05 Brown, finally, weeks after mentioning it in the previous Voluntary Eyes post. With the holidays approaching, things are just spinning out of control for me at home so the drafts are just piling up on the blog =.=

I drooled the moment I saw this Palette 05 Brown. It's one of those earth-tone everyday palette that's super easy to wear that I simply can't have enough of... In fact, I was so taken with this palette I totally forgot to do the due diligence before buying it. You know where I'm going with this, right?

Celvoke Voluntary Eyes

Celvoke started to pop up in my Insta feed in the spring of this year. Being a new kid on the (high-end) block, I was intrigued but wasn't ready to give the brand a try until I saw photos of their Voluntary Eyes (what a weird name!) shadow singles tester board. By the end of the summer, I gave in and picked up 06 Chocolate Brown, 07 Tan, 09 Roshenna, and 12 Dark Purple from the 24 colors available.
