Red Lipsticks!

My favorite subject to write about - red! I LOVE that color! I don't often wear red, but I'm crazy for it! Red is a color I have to be in the mood to wear, otherwise it frightens, and at the same time, mesmerizes me. With my red lipsticks, however, I have never worn them full on red, however. I'm too timid, I guess. Generally, I just dab them on over lip balm or clear gloss. I do love staring at my red lipsticks and marvel at how red they are though :D

It is difficult for me to find a red lipstick that matches my warm skin tone. Granted, I haven't look that hard, but so far the ones I found all have hints of blue. Urgh. But, I did managed to find 3 so far that are just the most kick ass warm reds ever!!!

Esolis Eye Shadows Part II

So I visited my family in Colorado over the holidays...and grabbed the other 2 Esolis Eye Shadows from my sister :P

The Rouge/Blush duo:

Rouge: shimmer, low intensity, a nice maroon with fuchsia shimmers.
Blush: shimmer, very sheer, a translucent soft pink.

The Golden Orchid/Gilded Lily duo. For some reason, this duo's formula is significantly silkier than the other two! Talk about inconsistency!

Golden Orchid: pearl, low intensity, a beautiful pearly cream with gold iridescent. This is probably one of the best white shades I have ever seen!
Gilded Lily: shimmer, medium intensity, a bluish purple with golden shimmers. Makes a very pretty eye liner!

Esolis Eye Shadows

These are eye shadow duos that were given as GWP (see previous Esolis Lip Tint SPF 15 post). They are your average eye shadow, nothing worth noting, even a bit chalkier than drugstore brands. My sister and I have all three color combos, but I only have the Marine/Aqua duo with me.

- Marine: shimmer, high intensity, a similar color to the dark green liner shade in the T'estimo Layered Impact Eye Palette #3 only with foam green shimmers.
- Aqua: pearl, low intensity, a pretty foam green with lilac iridescent.

Esolis Lip Tint SPF 15

Back in early 2000's, Esolis was a short-lived brand of skin care and makeup targeting Asian women in North America. It was very strange, as the catalogue just showed up at my door step one day. Obviously, someone had been selling demographic information...and my address!!!! Anyways, I was very excited of course, because growing up, I've never known any makeup or skin care within the borders of North America that was geared towards Asian skin.
