Decorte Makeup Coffret II

After the Cosme Decorte AQMW Makeup Coffret VI that was released for the 2017 holidays season, I wasn't planning on getting anymore from Decorte. That was, until the Makeup Coffret II released for the 2019 holidays season caught my eyes with its striking metallic red packaging. This coffret featured a Lasting Gel Eyeliner RD402, an Eye Glow Gem PK891, a Powder Blush M PK805, and The Rouge RD459, all of which are wearable for me, so I picked it up.

After playing around with Suqqu Eyeliner Liquid Pen Duo in 102 Khaki x Navy, I like it so much I went back for 101 Bordeaux x Red.

Pixi Beauty Endless Silky Eye Pen Part IV

Was at Target picking up a couple of things and spotted this Pixi Beauty Endless Silky Eye Pen in Graphic Greige. There wasn't a tester for it but it seemed like an interesting color that I don't have, so I picked it up.

My first Suqqu liquid eye liner in the form of Eyeliner Liquid Pen Duo 102 Khaki x Navy, and at half price to boot, bought during Selfridges UK's sales last summer ^.^

Cosme Decorte AQMW Makeup Coffret VI

Despite the Cosme Decorte AQMW Eye Glow Gem creasing on me, I do like the four colors I have and am experimenting with a primer that will work with them. Either way, they got me a little more curious with the brand, specifically the lipsticks. Question is, where does one get a good sampling of a brand's cosmetics in one set or kit? Answer is, their yearly makeup coffret, where else?

Luckily for me, the AQMW Makeup Coffret VI released for the 2017 holidays season had everything I could have wanted and would actually use (important!), including a Rouge Glow PK861 Yours Forever, a Lasting Gel Eyeliner BR303, a cream Blush & Highlighter, with the star of the coffret being an Eye Glow Gem PK881, all limited edition colors. Just perfect. Sold.

RMK Ingenious Liquid Eyeliner EX

Don't remember what got me into these RMK Ingenious Liquid Eyeliner EX. I see them on Selfridges UK online all the time but never really pay any attention. And plus it's been a long time since I last bought a liquid eyeliner, with Stila Sparkle Waterproof Liquid Eye Liner in Sequin being three years ago in 2015.

Anyway, I ended up with 02 Deep Brown, 04 Metallic Rose, and 05 Khaki Gold from the permanent lineup, limited editions EX-01 Metallic Gold and EX-02 Metallic Green released fall 2015, and another LE RMK x Taro Horiuchi TH-01 Navy released fall 2017.

Suqqu 2015 Christmas Makeup Kit B

Call this Suqqu 2015 Christmas Makeup Kit B a nostalgic purchase, because I'd already swatched it in person and went with Kit A instead. And then over the holidays, I spotted this Kit B on Rakuten JP for 7,000yen with free shipping. At the time, I also had about 1,800 Rakuten points (1,800yen's worth!), so I didn't hesitate and got this Kit B for 5,200yen, or about 35% off of the 8,000yen retail. Woot!

Here's a quick review of Tarte SmolderEyes Amazonian Clay Waterproof Liner in Moss, because there's no difference between this and the Skinny version at all!

J. and I were huge fans of Three Flash Performance Eyeliner Pencil. It boggled our minds that Three would discontinued these, only to replace them with the Meh-smerizing Performance Eyeliner Pencil so bland not even the LE colors could tempt either of us!

In the end, I moved to secure my favorite Flash backups while J. moved on to these Tarte Skinny SmolderEyes Amazonian Clay Waterproof Liner. She really liked them and recommended them to me, so I picked up four colors when they went on sale last summer: Deep Amethyst, Emerald, Jade, and Slate.

...Because I can't go see and swatch this Lunasol 2016 Party Coffret myself anymore T.T *sniff* so I scoured the web for pictures of them and hoped to find some swatches. I did find some, so I thought I'd share them with you :)

Addiction Color Chic Eye Liner Swatches

So... you might noticed the name of my blog has changed yet again. It's because, well, hubby and I are no longer in Tokyo. We've moved (yet again) home to the US of A for now, and I say "for now" because every time I think "for good," I've been wrong.

This means these Addiction Color Chic Eye Liner swatches are the last of the spy photos for a while :( I really liked being able to go out there and see the stuff in person, and not having to pay marked-up prices was nice. But oh well, I'm still a good 5-6 months behind on photos, so by my estimate Japan-related posts will be forthcoming well into next year ^.^"

Three Mesmerizing Performance Eyeliner Pencil Swatches

After swatching the 2016 winter LE Addiction The Eyeshadows, I also popped over to the Three counter to check out the full lineup of Mesmerizing Performance Eyeliner Pencils. I'd already swatched the first three LE colors, so I didn't touch them again.

Went out to Ginza Mitsukoshi last Friday to check out the three limited edition releases of Three Mesmerizing Performance Eyeliner Pencil, the new incarnation of the just-discontinued Flash Performance Eyeliner Pencils.   

The LE colors are 01 MJ:We Love You, 02 AW:Sense of Selfie, and 03 JMB:Samo.

Three Flash Performance Eyeliner Pencil Part II

So I've just been informed that Three is discontinuing all 8 of these Flash Performance Eyeliner Pencils, which means I've got to push this review for 02 Eye Believe out the door and then hurrying on to grab my backups before they're gone forever (they'll be pulled from the counters after August 9). Why?!? I just can't even... O.o

Stila Convertible Color Part IV

These Stila x Baublebar Gift Sets in Glow & Behold and Merry & Bright were from the 2014 holiday season. I've had them since last summer when they went on clearance. After months of using Canmake Cream Cheeks and the new Lip & Cheek Gels, I finally dug them out, ready for more Convertible Colors I don't yet have.

Three Flash Performance Eyeliner Pencil

Finally, finally, finally got around to using my Three Flash Performance Eyeliner Pencils. The thing is, I've already swatched them with the store's indoor lighting and did all the ooohs and ahhhs. I even described their colors and whatnot, so this post is pretty much to confirm the obvious that these eyeliners are awesome and I love them.
