Here is a mini Paul & Joe eyeshadow compact from the Makeup Collection 2021: Eye Color Limited in the color 019 on Day 24, in Compact Limited 004 on Day 23.

Lunasol Eye Coloration

Been dying to get to these Lunasol Eye Coloration since the spring of 2020 when they first came out! I picked up 4 palettes to try: 01 Twilight Sky and 02 Deep Rose Quartz, and the two limited editions EX01 Moon Tears and EX02 Mystical Coral. Caty was raving about them so I couldn't help but be curious.

Suqqu Designing Color Eyes Part X

Aye, I've this post saved in draft for months now! Here it is, finally, the next installment of Suqqu Designing Color Eyes with 14 彩漆 (Irourushi), a new addition to the permanent lineup released for fall-winter 2019, and 125 光惚 (Hikaribore), a summer 2019 LE, and 127 深飾 (Fukakazari), a UK holiday 2019 LE.

Decorte Makeup Coffret II

After the Cosme Decorte AQMW Makeup Coffret VI that was released for the 2017 holidays season, I wasn't planning on getting anymore from Decorte. That was, until the Makeup Coffret II released for the 2019 holidays season caught my eyes with its striking metallic red packaging. This coffret featured a Lasting Gel Eyeliner RD402, an Eye Glow Gem PK891, a Powder Blush M PK805, and The Rouge RD459, all of which are wearable for me, so I picked it up.

Addiction Compact Addiction Chinoiserie

In the fall of 2018, Addiction released a large collection named Empress Orchid. Among the collection were six(!) nona eye shadow compacts with inspiration drawn from the film The Last Emperor, Compact Addiction Chinoiserie: 001 Last Emperor, 002 Eastern Jewel, 003 Rain, 004 China Girl, 005 Shanghai Breakfast, and 006 Trust Me. Each palette was said to have existing colors from the current lineup of 99, palette-only limited editions, and re-issues from previously discontinued colors.

Out of the six though, I was drawn only to two: 002 Eastern Jewel and 005 Shanghai Breakfast. Meanwhile, 001 Last Emperor has unique colors that I would never wear, 003 Rain is too pastel which doesn't work well on my yellow-saturated skin tone, 004 China Girl is pretty but is dominated with similar-looking pinks and grays, and 006 Trust Me is plain yawn-inducing.

Even 005 Shanghai Breakfast has only 3 unique colors, the pale pink, bright pink, and gold. The other 6 are way too close, all in the mauve-bordeaux-burgundy-wine-purple family. So I ended up with just 002 Eastern Jewel, because all the colors in this palette look differently enough.

Suqqu Designing Color Eyes Part IX

For spring 2019, Suqqu released two more Designing Color Eyes palettes, 12 幻光茜 (Genkouakane) in the permanent range and an LE 124 透葵陽 (Toukiyou). Normally, I'd be all over the LE quad but 124 was both too orange-y and too beige-y a version of 119 向陽葵 (Himawari), with an odd base/highlighter that's white with blue-shift. At the same time, I was surprised palette 12 wasn't a LE, because it's gorgeous, so I went with just that.

Suqqu Blend Color Eyeshadow Part VI

This Suqqu Blend Color Eyeshadow in EX-25 春陽向 (Haruhinata) was a lucky find in the summer of 2018. I've been lemming this palette for a long time but wasn't willing to pay E(vil)bay's cut-throat price. So I was thrilled to have stumbled upon this gem on Rakuten JP for about 6,500yen after tax, less than the retail of 6,800yen listed on the packaging of the product. Scored!

Lunasol Nuance Shade Eyes

In the fall of 2018, Lunasol released a new line of eye palettes called Nuance Shade Eyes. For the most part, these are the same-old same-old gradation schemes, with the exception of the palette 04 Dazzling Night Scene.

Lunasol Geminate Eyes Part III

In the spring of 2019, Lunasol did something interesting--they re-released an updated version of the long-running Geminate Eyes, now named Geminate Eyes N. In addition to the two available palettes 01CE and 05RB, there was also a LE release EX01 Amethyst. Being a fan of the palette, of course I had to have this LE palette. I found it on Amazon JP and thankfully, they were willing to send it overseas to me.
