Origins Calm to Your Senses Lavender and Vanilla Body Cleanser

Finally finished with the bottle of L'Occitane Bonne Mere Peach Shower Gel which only took me, oh, almost a year and a half +.+ So I happily moved on to the next thing in the queue, this 200mL/6.7fl. oz. bottle of Origins Calm to Your Senses Lavender and Vanilla Body Cleanser, which might last me just as long. Ha.

Soap Crazy Part XV

Interesting. I just realized hubby and I average out to about 10 bars of soap per year, give or take a few repeats. The last Soap Crazy post dated January 2019.

- Arb-Ims Spa Co Vanilla Honey Soap 100g: this bar was from a massive care package my friend A. sent to me from Tokyo. She'd been traveling the world with her hubby and daughter, and everywhere she went, she collected something to send to me. How sweet is that? I'm so blessed with such kind and generous friends T.T  

Among the goodies were Beauty Diary sheet masks and soap bars from Thailand.

Origins Ginzing Energy-Boosting Gel Moisturizer

Hubby's almost done with this 15mL/0.5fl. oz. tube of Origins Ginzing Energy-Boosting Gel Moisturizer so here's a quick post.

The short of it is: he doesn't like it. The moisturizer itself is lightweight and decently moisturizing but he's really put off with the strong scent. I tried the Ginzing Refreshing Eye Cream and recall it had a zesty citrus orange scent but it wasn't anything overpowering. This Gel Moisturizer has the same scent, only a lot stronger, hence hubby's annoyance. He said it feels like slathering on orange candy every night after the shower. Having tried this on a few times myself, I admit he's right. The scent is just too strong. Will not purchase full size.

Origins Blooming Sheer Lip Balm

Along with By Terry Hyaluronic Sheer Rouge 10 Berry Boom and Pixi Beauty MultiBalm Cheek & Lip Soft Strawberry (will post next), I also picked up Origins Blooming Sheer Lip Balm in 04 Daisy Coral to try.

I was rather intrigued when these Blooming Sheers came out. Sheer lippies are my jam, after all. At the same time, I was also wary of their definition of sheerness that's not at all like the sheer Japanese lippies I know and love. So I thought I ought to just try one, and I did ^.^

This 30mL/1fl. oz. bottle of Origins x Dr. Andrew Weil Mega-Mushroom Relief & Resilience Soothing Treatment Lotion (why are these names so ridiculously long?!) was from another Sephora PLAY! SMARTS box that caught my eyes last winter. This box was called Superfoods: Feed Your Face.

Origins Make a Difference Plus Rejuvenating Treatment

After Origins Make a Difference Plus Rejuvenating Moisturizer, I moved on to this tiny 5mL/0.17fl. oz. tube of Rejuvenating Treatment in the same lineup. I read on Origins' website that it's a gel, versus the Moisturizer being a cream, so I queued it to use after the moisturizer. It's getting warmer and warmer these days, so I'm slowly moving into a lighter moisturizer for daytime.

Origins Comfort Mood Whipped Vanilla Body Souffle

Oh man, on one hand March has been a really rough month for our little family so I'm glad it's over. On the other hand, I do realize I've posted all of one post so far, which leaves me even more so behind with pictures and reviews and I already am =.= There are times this blog feels like a never ending marathon and I just want to throw my hands up--I won't, but I'd be lying if I said the thought hasn't crossed my head. It has, and many times.

Anyway, moving on. For the past couple of months, I've been struggling to use up two of these 200mL/6.7oz jars of Origins Comfort Mood Whipped Vanilla Body Souffle, or rather 1.5 jars since the first arrived with its lid popped open inside the box and lost about half of its content. Origins then sent me a new jar as replacement when really I should have just asked for a refund.

Origins Eye Doctor

A few weeks ago I finished the backup jar of Belif Moisturizing and Firming Eye Cream (received in swap with Caty, a reader--thank you, Caty!) and promptly got started on the full size 15mL/0.5fl. oz. of Origins Eye Doctor as part of my daytime routine.

Origins A Perfect World for Eyes

Started on this 15mL/0.5fl. oz. pump bottle of Origins A Perfect World for Eyes after I ran out of Kiehl's Rosa Artica Youth Regenerating Eye Balm.

Actually, I was choosing between this and the Eye Doctor cream. I needed a thicker cream for nightly use and didn't want to open both just to check their texture. This is how I keep my skincare fresh. I wrap them up with saran wrap and don't touch them until I'm ready to use them. So I chatted with an Origins rep and he confirmed the Eye Doctor was indeed the lighter cream of the two.

Origins Ginger Souffle Whipped Body Cream

Finished with this 90mL/3oz. of Origins Ginger Souffle Whipped Body Cream just as hubby and I moved into our new home at the end of June. This jar was from the Mini Souffle Sampler, which included this Ginger Souffle, Gloomaway, and the Smoothing Souffle that got me hooked on the texture to begin with.
