Boots No7 Future Renew Damage Reversal Serum

Here's a 5mL/0.16fl. oz. tube of Boots No7 Future Renew Damage Reversal Serum I got from a generous Walgreens GWP.

You wouldn't know it, but this unremarkable-looking serum had some pretty lofty claim: "damage reversal," the tube says. Now as for what kind of damage this serum could "reverse," it didn't say. Ha! I rolled my eyes pretty hard. Even if this gel-cream could reverse any kind of damage, there was only 5mL of it so I couldn't reap the benefit anyway. I didn't recall a scent, but the serum did go on clean and absorbed quickly. It was decently moisturizing, and layered well under moisturizer and sunscreen. Will not purchase full size, because any skincare with such superlative claims must be a joke.

Boots No7 Radiant Results Nourishing Cleansing Balm

After all this talk about not being wasteful, I did end up squeezing out my tube of Boots No7 Radiant Results Nourishing Melting Gel Cleanser into the trash and recycled the packaging. I just couldn't stand that stuff and wouldn't wish it on anyone else, so I'd rather toss it. In its place is this 125mL/4.2fl oz jar of Radiant Results Nourishing Cleansing Balm.

Boots No7 Radiant Results Nourishing Melting Gel Cleanser

Started using this 150mL/5fl. oz. tube of Boots No7 Radiant Results Nourishing Melting Gel Cleanser a couple of months ago after finishing Caudalie Make-up Removing Cleansing Oil. Unfortunately, I hate it and I'll tell you why.

This is a gel-to-oil cleanser that's to be massaged onto dry skin, whereupon it'll melt into an oil that will emulsify and then rinse off with water. At least that was how it was supposed to work. Unfortunately, it doesn't quite work the way it was intended.

Maybelline ColorSensational Lip Gloss

Update Saturday January 14, 2012.

I was cleaning up my photo library and stumbled onto these pictures I took of Neutrogena MoistureShine Gloss way back in 2007, so I thought I'd post them up ^.^

- First Blush: this was my favorite color because it was a perfect my-lips-but-better and I never needed a mirror to apply it ^.^

Glam: I wear this color when I wanted to "dress up" a little. That goes to show how little makeup I wore back then, no? Ha, how things have changed xD

Sweet Nothing: I wore this one like a lip balm!

Another goody I received from Citrine is the Maybelline ColorSensational Lip Gloss in 953 Hi-tech Plum.

This is my very first lip gloss from Maybelline, and over all my 4th American drugstore lip gloss after Neutrogena MoistureShine Gloss, L'Oreal Paris Colour Juice Sheer Juicy Lip Gloss, and Boots No 7 High Shine Lip Gloss (well, not exactly American, but whatever :P).

My holiday swap with Citrine :) All pictures taken in natural light without flash.
