Jurlique Sweet Violet & Grapefruit Hydrating Mist

More than half way through this 100mL/3.3fl. oz. bottle of Jurlique Sweet Violet & Grapefruit Hydrating Mist so here's a quick review.

After too many a bottle of Rosewater Balancing Mist, I simply got bored. I think Jurlique too could sense that boredom in their demographics and started releasing limited edition mists. This Sweet Violet & Grapefruit version was released in late 2017, and the 2018 version was Sweet Peony & Tangerine which was available for the longest time on the brand's online shop until recently.

Unfortunately, I don't love Sweet Violet & Grapefruit, though apparently it's popular enough to be brought back permanently in a new packaging along with a Lavender mist. I don't like it because the scent is too strong for my taste. It's a sharp but sweet fruity flowery fragrance that's nothing reminiscent of grapefruit, which was what sold me to begin with. I don't know what violet really smells like so I can't comment here.  It's a nice spray but isn't moisturizing in the least. It literally feels like I spritzed my face with water. The bottle is pretty though. Will not repurchase.

It is a gorgeous bottle! I have a limited version rosewater and I have been using it as...water (to remove lipstick swatch greasy sunscreen residue at it end of the day). The bottle is definitely the most expensive part of the product...

Hey Mina,

LOL it definitely feels that way for sure, that I'm merely paying for the pretty bottle because the water itself is pretty lame ^.^" The Rose Water isn't too bad I think and I'm tempted to try the Rose Water Intense but I'm also afraid "intense" might just mean stronger rose fragrance.

Can confirm...it's stronger version of the regular white bottle spray.

Hey Mina,

Gah...thanks for confirming. Good thing I didn't take the bait yet ^.^"

Cheers,
