Last item from the DHC Urumai collection is this 50mL pump bottle of Milky Essence. This item is available only domestically within Japan, so I bought it (in the below order) via Alpha Beauty dot net, a HK e-tailer for J-beauty products.
The essence boasts 100% natural rice bran oil. It has a thin and milky consistency, is a bit more moisturizing than the Lotion, and layers well under the Cream. Honestly, I'm not sure why it's called a "milky
essence" and not an "emulsion"--I guess they're the exact same thing, just called different names. Again, the essence does
its job but still is nothing to write home about.
