Got a 30mL/1fl. oz. deluxe trial tube of 111Skin NAC Y2 Restorative Cleansing Balm from a recent online order and immediately put it to good use, because I'd been curious about this product for a long time but didn't want to fork out $70 for the 120mL/4fl. oz. full size. Good thing I didn't, because while the stuff worked to remove my waterproof sunscreen, I didn't love it as much I expected to.
Why? Because it was super duper thick and goopy, with texture like cold honey. Spreading it all over my face felt very pulling and tugging, which was uncomfortable at best. It did warm up with the shower heat and humidity, which was neat, and it had a very faint scent. After massaging it on, I wet my hands to massage some more, whereupon it immediately melted into a very thin emulsion. It rinsed decently well, but often left my nose--and just my nose--greasy. No idea why. The tube lasted me for 4 liberal uses, with a good sized goop for my neck and an even bigger goop for my face. Will not purchase full size.
