Just finished this 65mL/2.19fl. oz. full size of Grown Alchemist Hydra-Repair Day Cream yesterday so here's the post before I forget about it and it gets buried in the draft folder.

I had a bit of buyer's remorse after purchasing this cream, because I'd forgotten that I'd tried the "treatment" version before, Hydra-Repair Treatment Cream, and although I liked it, I hated how strongly scented it was, and I didn't love how thick it was either, enough to be used as a leave-on mask.
To make things worse, this Day Cream was housed in an aluminum tube, and when I took it out of the box and straightened it up to take a photo, the bottom corner started leaking nonstop, which then forced me to snap a picture or two then hurriedly transfer the whole tube's content into a glass jar instead. Of course, it jumped my day-moisturizer queue too, which annoyed me so much because I actually looked forward to every next-in-line item. So, at this point I really regretted buying this Day Cream...

...Until I actually tried it. It wasn't so bad. Actually, it was a pretty good face cream, being much, much thinner in texture and much much milder scented than the Treatment Cream. It was perfect for my daytime routine as it wasn't too thin either, all the while being perfectly moisturizing. I was still annoyed about the leaky tube, sure, but I happily used the rest of the cream in the pretty glass jar that formerly housed L'Occitane Immortelle Divine Cleansing Balm. Would I buy it again though? Nope. Not with that leaky tube.
