Over the past few months there has been several more flavors at my local taiyaki stand.
Pudding cream: the current flavor-du-jour (well, for the month really). In Japan, when people say "pudding," they always mean creme caramel, aka flan. This was delicious, almost as yummy as the apple cheese cream late last year, though nothing has beaten that flavor yet so far.
Coffee cream: much better than the iced cafe latte that came out in the late summer. Yummy!
Marron (chest nut) cream: ooohh now this has an interesting nutty coffee flavor. The fall in Japan is all about chest nuts and pumpkin, and they even had a pumpkin filled taiyaki but, erhh..., I'm not a big fan of pumpkin so I skipped it :P
