Baby Magic Baby Lotion

I have two 488mL/16.5fl. oz. bottles of Baby Magic Baby Lotion, Original and Gentle that I can't tell the difference between them. So I ended up pouring both into a giant pump bottle (reused the empty bottle of Johnson's Baby Lotion) and stationed that bottle permanently in my kitchen for everyday use.

I have super dry skin, and being mum of two little boys means I'm in the kitchen for a good part of my day and soaking my hands constantly. So I need a light and quick-absorbing lotion that I would apply just as constantly. Sometimes, I would apply lotion only to immediately wash if off again--frustrating, yes. I'd gone through many a bottle of cheap lotions the same way: if a lotion isn't moisturizing enough for my body, it'd end up in the kitchen.

So far so good. I wouldn't say these are the best, but they work ok for this purpose and they're super affordable. And really, I can't distinguish between Original and Gentle. The texture is the same. Moisture level is the same. Doesn't smell that much different either. Plus I don't get why there's a "gentle" baby lotion--aren't baby lotions supposed to be gentle to begin with? Anyway, will not repurchase.

By Terry Hyaluronic Sheer Rouge Part II

Along with By Terry Baume de Rose Lip Care Stick, I also picked up three more Hyaluronic Sheer Rouge in 5N Flush Contour, 11 Fatal Shot, and 15 Grand Cru in hopes of finding sheerer colors than the 10 Berry Boom I first tried. But of course this review is super late as I've had these lippies for several years now. These tube and packaging designs are old, as the line was revamped a few years ago, which means all three colors described below are long discontinued as well.

By Terry Baume de Rose Lip Care Stick

Shortly after getting By Terry Baume de Rose Lip Care several years ago, I also picked up this Baume de Rose Lip Care Stick (yep, took this long for me to review...). I liked the formula of the Lip Care but couldn't make it work with the white base and the strong scent, and I thought this Lip Care Stick would be better. Since it was in a stick, I thought it would be more like a clear balm.

Dove Botanical Selection Makeup Removal Oil Pore Beauty Oil Cleansing

Last but not least, I'm finishing up this Dove Botanical Selection Makeup Removal Oil Pore Beauty Oil Cleansing 155mL refill pouch, which I poured into the emptied pump bottle of Sulwhasoo Gentle Cleansing Oil EX.

This is a pretty decent cleansing oil, actually. It's thick and smooth but isn't too oily. There's also a slight cushy texture, but I wouldn't call it a gel--definitely an oil. Otherwise, it rinses well and doesn't dry out my skin. It has a mild fruity-floral scent that's pleasant. I probably won't repurchase though: I have an ongoing queue for cleansing oils, balms, and gels ^.^

Shu Uemura Nutri:Nectar Gentle Cleansing Oil in Emulsion

...And for days when hubby actually remembered to remove the waterproof sunscreen on our boys before dunking them into the bath, he used this 150mL/5fl. oz. pump bottle of Shu Uemura Nutri:Nectar Gentle Cleansing Oil in Emulsion

DHC Water-friendly Cleansing Oil

Here's another late review since I've had this 150mL pump bottle of DHC Water-friendly Cleansing Oil on the bathroom shelf since last summer.

Lachesca Oil Cleansing

Oops. Forgot to post this review of the Lachesca Oil Cleansing 200mL refill pouch.

This was an unscented cleansing oil with an interesting texture, more like a cleansing gel because it didn't feel at all oily. Instead, it had a "cushy" feel, sort of like FANCL Mild Cleansing Oil. However, it also oddly "dried up" when I massaged it onto my face for too long, and it didn't matter how generous the amount I used. Whereas a cleansing gel would have eventually melted into an oil after a lengthy massage, this stuff simply dried up! Super weird. I'd never had a cleansing oil drying up on me while I was cleaning my face with it. Thankfully, it rinsed clean and didn't leave my skin squeaky, so it was at least mild and wasn't stripping. I couldn't get over the drying up part though. Definitely wouldn't repurchase.

Jayjun Eye Gel Patch

These Jayjun Eye Gel Patches were random, impulse buys that became popular with hubby ^.^ There are several different varieties but here I'm reviewing Green Tea and Lavender Tea. Each jar contains 60 patches of 1.4g each, so basically 30 applications per jar. For $15, that's not bad.

Wonder Honey Honey Dew Hand Cream Part III

Here are the last of my Wonder Honey Honey Dew Hand Creams as well. It's not that I've used them all. Of course I haven't. More like in these past few years, they haven't released any new scents, at least not to my knowledge.

The 50g full size tubes (above) are too big, so I particularly like the Hand Cream Gifts, with 6 mini tubes in different scents. However, here too they kept recycle the same scents from the previous year, meaning I'm buying the same stuff over and over in different packaging. So I just stopped buying altogether :(

A'pieu Power Block Sun Stick SPF50+ PA++++

I've been carrying this 15g A'pieu Power Block Sun Stick SPF50+ PA++++ in my handbag since last summer so here's a review for it, finally. There are 2 types, Regular and Tone Up, and I'm using the Tone Up. Also, please note this stick is several years old now and there's of course a new version of it, which I don't have and don't plan on getting.
