Been using this 40mL/1.3fl. oz. tube of Avene Cicalfate Restorative Protective Cream as hand cream when it's really meant for the face. The reason being that it came out of the box with a strange watery sound when shaken. I thought I was sent an expired product and checked the expiration date, but nope, still fresh. The tube itself still had the manufacturer's seal at the opening.
Once unsealed though, it's clear the cream inside had separated because there's a
clear blue liquid that spilled out. The cream itself is ok: unscented, thick, rich, and moisturizing, if a tad sticky and greasy. It was too iffy for facial use so I used it on my hands instead. Will not repurchase.
