Pai The Anthemis Chamomile & Rosehip Soothing Moisturizer

Almost done with this 50mL/1.7fl. oz. pump bottle of Pai The Anthemis Chamomile & Rosehip Soothing Moisturizer. It was part of the Skincare Rosehip Bestsellers Set. 

This moisturizer comes out of the pump resembling mayonnaise ^.^ It's a light cream without added fragrance. However, there's definitely a smell which took me some time to get used to. I use it like an emulsion with my nighttime routine, after toner but before serum. For this purpose, it works well enough. Nothing amazing but it works. Will not repurchase. 

 

Now a rant: this moisturizer has got to have the dumbest packaging I've ever seen. The frosted glass bottle you see above doesn't actually contain any moisturizer. Instead, it contains a pouch that contains the moisturizer, i.e. double packaging. Even worse, this pouch is attached permanently to the pump dispenser, and the whole thing is then shoved into the glass bottle. And by permanent, I mean the pump can't be removed from the pouch at all, perhaps for sanitation purposes, but this means the glass bottle is completely useless once I remove the pouch and pump, because the bottle can't hold anything else not having a cap! Not to mention it was exceedingly difficult to pull this pouch out of the glass bottle to begin with, and the idea was to toss both the pouch with dispenser and the glass bottle, both redundant and wasteful.
