Here's the last of my goodies from the Cle de Peau Beaute Holiday 2020 Enchanted Lake Collection, this Lipstick 515 Impassioned that was released along with Lip Glorifier 513 Break of Dawn and Lipstick Cashmere 514 Enamoured, all were LE's.
All pictures taken in natural light without flash.
Housed in a pearlized charcoal colored tube with a gray swan print on the inner twist-up tube, this Lipstick 515 Impassioned is the Black Swan to Lipstick Cashmere 514 Enamoured's White Swan. CdP's Lipstick line has a satin finish, versus the Lipstick Cashmere's matte or soft matte, depending on the color as the formula is inconsistent, as I've learned.
I haven't tried any other CdP Lipstick, but so far, the formula for this particular 515 Impassioned feels somewhere in between Lipstick Cashmere 103 Legend and 514 Enamoured, as in it's softer, more moist, and more moisturizing than 103 Legend, but not as soft or moist or moisturizing as 514 Enamoured. The pigmentation is top notch though, and one layer is enough for full coverage, with a satiny finish. That said, because the pigmentation is so intense, I only ever apply one layer to my top lip and then press to spread, and the finish I get with this method is actually a beautiful soft matte. Interesting, right?

- 515 Impassioned: a shimmer-free and vampy "bloody-wine." I know that doesn't sound attractive, but I can't think of any other way to describe this color other than "bloody," because to me it looks like a blood-red tinged with wine. It's a beautiful color, and flattering too. So despite the awful description I love it. Will definitely pick up another color or two.

Here are my three beauties from the Holiday 2020 Enchanted Lake Collection, all are LE's: Lip Glorifier 513 Break of Dawn, Lipstick Cashmere 514 Enamoured, and this Lipstick 515 Impassioned.
