Kiss Pure Bloom Cheeks

Yes, I finally finally finally got around to these lovely Kiss Pure Bloom Cheeks, although I *think* they might have been discontinued as I can't even find them on Kiss' website anymore. They are still sold at Plaza as well as the Kiss boutiques though. I was attracted to these because of their beautiful embossed heart-shaped pattern. It's just too bad that one you use the blush the pattern disappears.

01 Bougainvillea and 02 Cosmos. All pictures taken indoor with flash unless otherwise noted.

There were 6 colors available, and I managed to get them before they're gone. Even at Plaza, only 4 colors are left on display, probably because 2 are no longer available. Other than the 6 colors in the regular lineup, they'd released a couple other limited editions such as the Pure Bloom Cheeks C 2010 Valentine Special and the Twinkle Angel Highlight from winter 2008.

03 Sweet Pea and 04 Rose

Anyway, these come in pairs of one darker and one lighter color. They are very decently pigmented, especially the darker color. Sometimes the lighter color is very light and is only suitable for highlighting purposes, but most of the time they are pigmented enough to be used on their own as a separate cheek color. The texture is soft and smooth, the majority has a satiny finish with shimmers so fine they don't really show up at all. Some colors are more shimmery, but nothing over the top.

05 Cherry Blossom and 06 Dahlia

Pure Bloom Cheeks C 2010 Valentine Special

- 01 Bougainvillea: a combination of a vivid hot pink and a softer pink peach. They blend together for a nice carnation pink.

- 02 Cosmos: a combination of a candy tangerine that is more shimmery than all the other Pure Bloom Cheek colors and a peachy coral. They blend together for a pretty orangey coral.

- Top row: 01 Bougainvillea, with the last swatch being the blended color.
- Bottom row: 02 Cosmos, again last swatch blended. Swatch picture taken in natural light without flash.

- 03 Sweet Pea: a combination of a bold pinkish poinsettia red and a pale powder pink that is meant to be a highlighter as well as to tone the bold poinsettia down a notch or too. They blend together for a medium pink.

- 04 Rose: a more demure combination of a nude peach and a tawny rose. They blend together for a warmer fleshy rose pink.

- Top row: 03 Sweet Pea, with the last swatch blended.
- Bottom row: 04 Rose, again with the last swatch blended. Swatch picture taken in natural light without flash.

- 05 Cherry Blossom: a muted combination of pale beige pink with a pearly sanity sheen, meant to be a highlighter, and a warm petal pink. They do blend together for a pretty but lighter sakura pink, too light in my opinion for a cheek color. I would just use the pale beige pink for highlighting and stick with the warm petal pink on its own.

- 06 Dahlia: a combination of a peach and a reddish coral. The red chills out a bit on me though, so it's just...coral ^.^ They blend together for an even peachier coral, and I just realized there are lots of peach in these blushes! xD

- Top row: 05 Cherry Blossom, last swatch blended.
- Bottom row: 06 Dahlia, again last swatch blended. Swatch picture taken in natural light without flash.

- Pure Bloom Cheeks C 2010 Valentine Special: a combination of a pastel pink, again meant to be a highlighter, and a warm reddish pink. The reddish pink does turn a bit coral on me, but when blended it tones down to just a nice flushed pink.

Hello,

It's a long shot, but would you be willing to help me get 2 of those blushes? They seem to be out of stock everywhere :(
