Almost finished with the last of these four Tsubakido Moisture Creams so I guess it's time to post this review for them. Like Kyobian, Tsubakido is a toiletry brand under Kyoto Kurochiku and they make face creams, hand creams, body creams, etc. Anyway, there are four different varieties of this Moisture Cream, 30g each in a cute and functional jar: EGF & Silk, Ceramide & Pearl, Arbutin & Uji Matcha, and Shea Butter & Yuzu and I've used all four.
As you can see, these jars aren't fancy. They're literally white jars with sticker-labels at the top and bottom. They have twist-off lids but they don't close very tightly, as in I twist thinking I'd closed it well, only for the lid to come undone at the lightest touch. Basically, the jars are flimsy.
The creams though, are a different story entirely. I don't know why, but
I'd expected these creams to be thin and soft and was literally
shocked to open these jars up and found the creams to be thick, rich, luxuriously creamy
instead. All four of them are unscented, and despite their thick texture
they are they aren't greasy. And yes, they're super moisturizing. I just
need a pea-sized amount for my whole face and neck.
Other than that though, I honestly don't get the different varieties: all four EGF & Silk, Ceramide & Pearl, Arbutin & Uji Matcha, and Shea Butter & Yuzu creams look and feel identical, especially because they're all unscented. I didn't see any difference at all between one cream and another, on my face or in the jar. Oh well, these have been great night creams for me nonetheless so I won't nitpick too much.
