Mustela 2-in-1 Cleansing Gel Hair and Body

Been using this 200mL/6.76fl. oz. tube of Mustela 2-in-1 Cleansing Gel Hair and Body on my little guy for a few months now so here's a post for it. It was part of the Mustela Bathtime Essentials Gift Set I got from Nordstrom a while back.

I honestly don't know what the difference is between this 2-in-1 Cleansing Gel and the Gentle Cleansing Gel, other than the fact that the former is a white liquid and the latter is clear. Both products are tear-free, both are for hair and body, and both are suitable for newborns, so I really don't get it. I adore Mustela, but their large range of product seems redundant to me as many items overlap in both usage and benefits.

This 2-in-1 Cleansing Gel works great in leaving my little guy's hair soft and smooth. That said, he's been home with us this whole time so we went back to the old hair-washing schedule of only Wednesdays and Sundays. We also use this gel on his bums occasionally, but otherwise we don't wash his body with soap, especially when he already gets a bubble bath almost every night using the Multi-Sensory Bubble Bath that does require additional rinsing afterwards.

So we probably won't repurchase this 2-in-1 Cleansing Gel. We already have the Gentle Cleansing Gel in a giant 750mL bottle, and we got the Foam Shampoo for Newborn for our tiny guy too. We estimated that by the time we finish the Foam Shampoo for Newborn, the tiny one will be big enough to share the Gentle Cleansing Gel with his big brother ^.^ See, we got this all planned out!
